The New Sexual Revolution

This is a presentation for parents regarding tools on talking with your child or youth about sex and the sexualized culture.  The materials were developed by a team of Atlanta parents in conjunction with the Atlanta office of the National Coalition in response to the 2005 “Sex and Young America “ presentation made at Perimeter School by Jack Samad, senior vice president of the National Coalition.  The parent presentation was piloted in four homes in the spring of 2006.  If you would like to schedule this in your home for your friends and neighbors or in your church, please contact Claire Hertzler at (404) 817-0499 or Claire@nationalcoalition.org .  We are currently scheduling homes for the fall.  There is no charge.

Any presentation mentioned above may be scheduled for your group by contacting Claire Hertzler at (404) 817-0499 or Claire@nationalcoalition.org at no charge, though honorariums to the National Coalition are welcomed.

The National Coalition's Atlanta office is actively working to stop human trafficking - modern day slavery.  For seven years, we have been working to stop the commercial sexual exploitation of minors here in our own city  through public awareness, public policy, parenting classes, and  church outreach.

In 1997, Atlanta Magazine named Atlanta “Sex City, USA” because of the 6,000 persons (4,000 of them dancers) then employed in the nude dance clubs.  In 1998, the National Coalition named Atlanta as one of its Model Cities and established Citizens for Community Values/Atlanta to impact the culture here.  In 2003, CCV/ATLANTA merged with the National Coalition, becoming one of its regional offices.
